Submission Guideline
The selection panel of the scientific committee will consider all abstracts received by the published deadline to ensure that the proposed submission is relevant to the Conference. Abstract selection notifications will be sent out to corresponding authors. All papers will be double-blind peer-reviewed by members of the scientific committee to ensure an adequate standard, that the proposed subject of the submitted abstract has been followed, that the paper is of a suitable length, the standard of English is adequate and the paper is appropriately referenced.
Two types of submission are available, i.e.,
> Oral Presentation
Kindly note that abstracts should be submitted via website guidelines only.
Abstract Submission Dates
- Abstract submission will open at January 15, 2023
- Deadline for submissions is April 15 , 2023
- Presenters of accepted abstracts must be registered before May 1, 2023
Abstract Design & Style
Abstract should be text-only and unstructured. Please do not include any table or figure in the abstract. - Language: English
- Size: Abstract must fit one page of size A4 (i.e., 21.0 (Width) x 29.7 (Height) centimeters)
- Word Count(s): 300 words (excluding title, author information, affiliation, and keywords.)
- Font: Times New Roman, single spaced, and justified
- Font size: 10 pt.
- Margins: Use page margins as 2.5, 3.5, 2.0, and 2.0 cm from top, left, bottom, and right, respectively.
- Title: Sentence case should be used (i.e., each word should start with a capital letter except for prepositions, e.g., and, or, of, the, etc.
- Authors: Indicate the author names in order Name, Middle Name, and Last Name (e.g., John Doe, Jane F. Doe, etc.). Please underline the presenter's name.
- Key Words: Provide 3 to 5 keywords.
For your convenience, you may download the "Abstract submission template" prepared according to these guidelines. Kindly overwrite this template with your abstract and upload it to EMR2023 using the "Abstract Submission System" given at the bottom of this page. After submission, you will receive an automated confirmation to your email address. If you do NOT receive an email confirmation after submission, please let us know by email to emr2023@erciyes.edu.tr.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- By submitting an abstract the author grants the conference committee the right to publish it.
- By submitting this abstract you agree that the slides of your presentation at the conference may be published on this site after the conference.
- All abstracts will be confidentially reviewed by the conference Scientific Committee that consists of leading professionals from local and international biostatistics academic bodies.
- The decision on acceptance of proposals for oral and poster presentations will be made by the conference organizers.
- Presenters are kindly requested to block the Congress dates of May 8-11, 2023 in their calendars until they receive notification of submission outcome.
- Accepted abstracts will be published in the conference book of abstracts distributed to the conference participants.
- The invitation to submit an abstract does not imply in any way an offer to contribute to the presenter's expenses or registration fees associated with the conference.
> Poster Presentation
A poster presentation combines a visual display on a poster board of the highlights of research with a question-and-answer opportunity. The poster will be available for viewing by participants during all hours of the conference. All participants are encouraged to visit the posters in the breaks and contact the main author during the conference when it is feasible.
Measurements
- Posters should be displayed in portrait style. The maximum size of your poster should be a standard A0 with maximum dimensions:
- Measure in centimeters 118,9cm (height) by 84,1cm (width)
- Measure in inches 46,813 (height) by 33, 11 (width)
Abstracts should be prepared using the Abstract submission template and sent to emr2023abstract@gmail.com by e-mail.
